Family Burrell | Portrait

I met up with the Burrells the other week to hang out and take some photos. We all went down to the river to throw stones - a fine pass time. There was an inevitable tumble in the shallow water which was unfortunate - luckily this didn't dampen spirits and there was still fun to be had hiding in the trees.

Family Cornell | Portrait

Just before the very end of the bilberry season I went over to Stocksbridge to climb trees with Jen, James and their three kids. Bedecked in stripy tops we scampered about through the woods and had fun swinging about on the way back. I used to be in a band with James many moons ago, but I hadn't properly met the fine brood that has developed since then. They were good fun and it did me good to play outside.

Fran and Laura | Wedding

Fran and Laura got married in Italy in August and got in touch with me to do some photographs when they got back. A couple of weeks after the wedding they held a wedding party at the Cricket Inn in Totley for everyone who couldn't be there to get together and celebrate with all those who could. 

The party went on much longer than the two hours I was there, but there was plenty of good food, sticky chocolate cake, cute kids, laughter and banter for it to feel like a full wedding celebration.
