Christmas feels like a long time ago now and this wedding happened in the run up, trimming itself with reds and glitter to fit right in to the festive season. Matt and Beth got married in Manchester Town Hall - and as ever - it was a privilege to accompany their day through the camera.
A few of my favourite things:
The Setting: Manchester Town Hall is quite a place - especially in winter light. The Gothic architecture was reminiscent of a grand church, and every surface was dripping with a different texture, pattern and colour with the deep hues setting the tone for some sumptuous festivities.
The Shoes: Both Matt and Beth expressed themselves through their shoes - flashing a bit of red via their Converse and Vivian Westwood's.
A Wedding Dress with Pockets! Genius.
Getting to know people: This is always one of my highlights - getting to know the girls as they go about getting ready - mingling with guests in the quieter moments - hearing the speeches - and slowly soaking up more and more of who these people are in the setting of their gathered special-ones.
Congratulations you two, and Happy New Year.
