Laura and Giles | Wedding

I met up with Laura and Giles in the summer to take some couple shots at Chatsworth when Giles regaled me with tales of his adventures and they both taught me about ANTM (Americas next top model) and smizing (smiling with your eyes). I knew their wedding would be fun. Finally their wedding day arrived and it was a beautiful September day. Giles and his entourage provided a lot of laughs at the boys house. Over at the girls Laura was a star, staying calm in the midst of a few potentially stressful situations and making the make-up artists job very easy with her natural beauty and style.

Giles and Laura requested a shot that I've seen online where a dinosaur is superimposed on a photo of a screaming bridal party ... I joked that I could superimpose whatever I liked, cue the artwork from the Beastie Boys "Intergalactic" single.

Hassop Hall provided a gorgeous backdrop for the day, with Leeds "Professor of Jazz" providing the atmosphere during the day, and the glamorous ballroom setting the tone for the evening. There were plenty of laughs to be had during the speeches, especially since a pre-arranged drinking game meant Giles had to take a drink every time his own name was mentioned. This set the evening up well for some fine dance moves (fitting since Giles used to be a 'professional dancer' - or at least that's what he told people while travelling in Europe).
