A couple of weeks ago I headed over to Northamptonshire to shoot the day of Ross and Mariska. I'd met Mariska at Nether Edge Farmers market where we both had a stall.
It was an emotional morning in the hotel as Mariska managed to make nearly all of her bridesmaids cry with letters and presents, and Ross's letter to Mariska made her cry too. Luckily the make-up lady was on hand for important eye make-up recovery before we headed over to Dodford Manor where the rest of the day took place. The dressing room was just off the main ceremony barn with a sneaky two way mirror so that the girls could see people arriving while they were getting ready.
The sky looked heavy in the morning and it looked like rain might invade on the day - but hurray and hurrah - it held off in all the right moments and we were able to enjoy some dramatic skyscapes without getting wet. And despite an unnerving interlude during the meal with an unwell Nana, a full recovery meant proceedings weren't dampened and the celebrations could carry on well into the evening.
