Golly - how has the summer gone already? I've been rubbish at keeping up with my blogging what with one things and another. I shall spend the autumn catching up with it all now that wedding season has wound down and there's a bit more spare time down the back of the sofa.
Every so often I am asked to do a wedding in Suffolk which is where I grew up. I am under strict instructions from my mum to say yes as it guarantees an extra visit for her - this time she got to puppy-sit too.
Lynda and Matthew's day took place in Bury St Edmunds Trinity Methodist Church and then Suffolk Barn in Hawstead. The historic barn dates back to 1423 and is an amazing venue full of character. Lynda and Matthew had kitted it out with lots of colourful personal touches. Lynda looked great in her dress from House of Snow and her BIBA feathered shrug. I remember the pie's being top notch (a couple of slices were served by the happy couple themselves) and I think that space hoppers are a new wedding must have.
Here are the highlights.
